Eric Guerra has represented Sacramento City Council District 6 since 2015 and serves as mayor pro tem. Governor Gavin Newsom appointed him to the California Air Resources Board in January 2023 for a term ending in 2028. He previously chaired the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District and the Sacramento County Planning Commission, served on the California State University Board of Trustees, and worked in the California Legislature. Guerra earned a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering and a master's degree in public policy and administration from California State University, Sacramento.

Flo Cofer

Flojaune "Flo" Cofer is a Sacramento epidemiologist and public-health policy advocate. She earned bachelor's degrees in chemistry and women's studies from Spelman College and an MPH and PhD in epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Her work has included the California Department of Public Health and Public Health Advocates, where she led health-equity, prevention, and emergency-response policy initiatives. She also served four terms as chair of Sacramento's Measure U Community Advisory Committee and served on local transportation, climate, and public-safety advisory bodies.
