A Northeast High School and ITT Technical Institute graduate, he worked 18 years at Xerox and became a senior printing systems engineer before entering politics. He served on the City Council from 2008 to 2016, in the Florida House from 2016 to 2020, and on the Ethics Commission from 2022 to 2024. His platform emphasizes living-wage jobs, education and vocational training, environmental resilience, infrastructure, affordable housing and homeownership, economic opportunity, and fully funded public safety.
