Denny Wells is a lifelong Alaskan and the son of an IBEW electrician who met his wife Lisa while attending UAF and serving in the Peace Corps together. He got involved in local politics during the 2022 Anchorage redistricting process, when the Assembly adopted one of his proposed maps.
