San Francisco Proposition G would reopen the Upper Great Highway between Lincoln Way and Sloat Boulevard to private vehicles from Monday at 4:00 a.m. through Friday at 6:00 p.m., except when a holiday falls on a weekday. The corridor, now Sunset Dunes Park, would remain available to authorized vehicles, and the City would have to obtain all required approvals, including any required under the California Coastal Act.
A YES vote means
Sunset Dunes Park would close during the stated weekday hours so the Upper Great Highway could reopen to private vehicles, subject to required government approvals.
A NO vote means
The City would not make these changes, and Sunset Dunes Park would remain closed to private vehicles at all times.
