Ballot Measure
Supports: Anti-Corruption, Election Integrity
Amends the county charter so every elected county office is nonpartisan and candidates appear without party designations. It also removes party-central-committee nomination language for vacancies and phases the change in for County Executive and Council seats beginning in 2027 or 2029 and for Prosecuting Attorney in 2030.

A YES vote means
A yes vote converts all elected county offices to nonpartisan status on the stated transition schedule and lets the County Council fill vacancies without a party committee's three-person list.
A NO vote means
A no vote keeps the existing charter's mix of partisan and nonpartisan county offices and retains the current party-based vacancy process where applicable.
