William Brown Jr. is the Libertarian nominee for California's 12th State Senate District in the 2026 general election, facing Republican Nathan Magsig for the open seat. A licensed clinical social worker, Marine Corps veteran, and small-business owner, he is only the second Libertarian to advance to a California general election under the top-two system. He has not previously held elected office.
