Colorado would expand human trafficking of a minor for sexual servitude. The offense would include knowingly trading anything valuable to buy or sell sexual activity with a minor. It would become a class 1 felony carrying life without parole or release. The governor's clemency authority would remain. The change would cover offenses committed starting January 1, 2027.
A YES vote means
The expanded offense and class 1 felony sentence of life without parole or release would take effect.
A NO vote means
Colorado would keep its current offense definition and penalties for trafficking a minor for sexual servitude.
