Alina Bonsell is a healthcare and pharmaceutical industry professional, entrepreneur, and small business owner who has lived on Manhattan's East Side for about 20 years. Her family came to Brooklyn in 1989 as Jewish refugees from the Soviet Union. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration cum laude from Hofstra University's Zarb School of Business and completed a leadership program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. A mother of two, she has focused her public work on public safety, family court reform, healthcare affordability, and small-business relief, and previously ran for New York City Council in 2025.
Liz Krueger

Liz Krueger has represented New York's 28th State Senate District on the East Side of Manhattan since winning a special election in February 2002, and chairs the Senate Finance Committee. Before joining the Senate she spent 15 years as associate director of the Community Food Resource Center, working to expand access to government programs for low-income New Yorkers, and earlier helped found and direct the New York City Food Bank. She holds a bachelor's degree in social policy from Northwestern University and a master's from the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy.
