Initiative to the Legislature IL26-638 would require school athletic policies to prohibit students it defines as biologically male from competing in female-only interschool sports. Students choosing to participate in those sports would have to provide a health-care-provider statement verifying biological sex using reproductive anatomy, genetic makeup, or naturally produced testosterone levels.
