Barri Worth Girvan is a public-affairs professional with more than 20 years in government service, running for Los Angeles City Council District 3 in the West San Fernando Valley. Her staff career includes the field office of Assemblymember Lloyd Levine, West Valley area director for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, district director for state Senate Majority Leader Bob Hertzberg, and most recently community affairs director for County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath. She advanced to the November 2026 runoff with 42.51% in the June primary against Timothy K. Gaspar.

Timothy K. Gaspar is a Canoga Park business owner running for Los Angeles City Council District 3, the West San Fernando Valley seat being vacated by term-limited Bob Blumenfield. He founded Gaspar Insurance Services in 2008 and grew it into one of the region's larger independent insurance firms, and has served with the Metropolitan YMCA of Los Angeles, the Woodland Hills/Warner Center Chamber of Commerce, and the Viewpoint School board of trustees. He grew up in Woodland Hills and Canoga Park, attended Pierce College, and graduated from Cal State Northridge. He led the June 2026 primary with 46.08% and faces Barri Worth Girvan in the November runoff.
