The proposal would levy up to 1.5000 mills, or $1.50 per $1,000 of taxable value, for ten years from 2026 through 2035. Eaton County estimates $7,843,350 in first-year revenue for local road preservation, preventive maintenance, drainage and culvert work, bridge repairs, dust control, and city and village street work.
A YES vote means
The county could collect the ten-year road millage and use the proceeds for the listed road, bridge, drainage, and street improvements.
A NO vote means
The county would not levy this new ten-year road-preservation millage.
