Measure 34-355 would authorize Hillsboro School District to issue up to $430 million in capital bonds. Projects would repair roofs, HVAC, lighting, playgrounds, and other aging systems; modernize educational and career spaces; improve technology and cybersecurity; expand extracurricular facilities; and enhance safety and security. The district estimates the new bond rate would remain below the average rate property owners paid since 2018.
