David Solet is a Democratic candidate for Middlesex County District Attorney in 2026. A Cambridge native and graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, he worked in the Middlesex DA's office from 2001 to 2025, including as founding director of its cold case unit, and served four years as chief legal counsel to the Massachusetts Secretary of Public Safety. He is a major in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps.
Marian T. Ryan

Marian T. Ryan is the incumbent Middlesex County District Attorney, in office since 2013 and the only woman among Massachusetts' district attorneys. A graduate of Emmanuel College and Boston College Law School, she has spent her career in the Middlesex DA's office, previously leading its Domestic Violence and Elder & Disabled units. She is seeking a fourth full term in 2026.
