Initiative 442 would amend Nebraska's Constitution to require covered school athletic teams and sports to be designated male, female, or coed based on biological sex. Teams designated for females would not be open to students of the male sex.

A YES vote means
The sex-based team-designation and participation rules would become part of Nebraska's Constitution for covered interscholastic, intercollegiate, and intramural athletics.
A NO vote means
The proposed constitutional rules would not be adopted; existing laws and athletic policies would remain in place.
