Proposition 1 would authorize Sultan School District No. 311 to issue up to $160 million in general-obligation bonds, maturing within 21 years, repaid with annual excess property-tax levies. Projects include modernizing Gold Bar Elementary, Sultan Middle School, and the existing Sultan High School; constructing a new high school; repurposing Sultan Elementary; removing portables; expanding career and college offerings; and improving safety and security.
