Ballot Measure
Proposition 437 would amend Article IV, Section 6 of the Yuma City Charter. The required nomination-petition signatures would remain between 3% and 5% of ballots cast, but the denominator would change from the preceding general municipal election to the preceding primary municipal election.
A YES vote means
A yes vote changes the charter so candidate nomination-petition signature requirements are calculated from ballots cast in the preceding primary municipal election.
A NO vote means
