Initiative to the Legislature IL26-001 would repeal Washington's 2025 amendments to the parental-rights-in-education statute and restore the version enacted through Initiative 2081. It would expand parents' access to student records, including health and mental-health records, require specified medical and law-enforcement notifications, and preserve opt-outs from specified surveys and sexual-health instruction.
