Jonathan Pearson is the 2026 Republican nominee for Hamilton County Commissioner, unopposed in the May primary. He has owned Pearson's Home/Turf, a Fairfax landscaping business, since 1992, after earlier work in golf course maintenance and property management overseeing subdivision construction. He ran for a commission seat in 2024, losing to Alicia Reece, and faces Democrat Meeka Owens in November.

Meeka Owens is the 2026 Democratic nominee for Hamilton County Commissioner after defeating incumbent Stephanie Summerow Dumas in the May primary with about 52%. A Cincinnati city councilmember since 2021, she chairs the council's Climate, Environment, and Infrastructure Committee, among the first local committees in the nation focused on climate. Raised in Avondale, she co-founded the Greater Cincinnati Voter Collaborative in 2020 and has served on boards including the YWCA and Women Helping Women. She faces Republican Jonathan Pearson in November.
