Ballot Measure
Miami Beach would change its lease with RK Rivani LLC for the city-owned property at 1691 Michigan Avenue. The company could extend the lease twice, 20 years each time, and build 47,000 square feet above the parking garage. The city's share of the rent would rise from 2.5% to 3%. The city expects at least $247.7 million in base rent plus about $184.1 million more over 40 years.
