Ballot Measure
Would amend the Alabama Constitution to require public K-12 schools to conduct the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of each school day and to require local boards of education to allow student-initiated, student-led prayer with student opt-out protections.
A YES vote means
A Yes vote would add daily Pledge of Allegiance and student-initiated prayer policy requirements for public K-12 schools to the Alabama Constitution.
A NO vote means
A No vote would leave the Alabama Constitution without these statewide Pledge of Allegiance and student-led prayer requirements for public K-12 schools.
