David Gomberg

David Gomberg is an Oregon State Representative for the 10th District on the state's central coast, serving since 2013, and was elected speaker pro tempore for the 2025 legislative session. Before the Legislature he co-owned Gomberg Kite Productions International, a kite design, manufacturing, and retail business; he flew kites in more than 40 countries and was inducted into the World Kiting Hall of Fame in 2005. Born in London to a U.S. Air Force officer and his British wife, he earned bachelor's and master's degrees in political science and related fields and an MBA from Willamette University.
