Chris Stearns

Chris Stearns is Washington's state representative for Legislative District 47 Position 2 and House Speaker Pro Tempore. A Navajo public servant, he previously served on the Auburn City Council, chaired the Washington State Gambling Commission, and was the first Director of Native American Affairs at the U.S. Department of Energy. He has also worked as Democratic Counsel to the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources.
