April Dobson is an Oregon State Representative for the 39th District, which includes Happy Valley, Clackamas, and part of outer southeastern Portland, serving since January 2025. A nonprofit professional born and raised in Oregon, she graduated from Scappoose High School and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon in 1997. While living in Los Angeles she helped reopen libraries closed by funding cuts, and back in Oregon she won a seat on the North Clackamas School Board in 2023.
