Carine Werner is the Republican Arizona state senator for Legislative District 4 and a member of the Scottsdale Unified School District governing board. She joined the Senate in 2025 and in 2026 chairs the Health and Human Services Committee, serves as vice chair of the Education Committee, and sits on Appropriations. Werner immigrated to the United States at age 11 and co-owns a real-estate consulting firm with her husband.
