She owns Citlali Creativo, founded in 2008, and serves on regional transportation, economic-development, public-safety, and domestic-violence bodies. A longtime civic volunteer, she also serves on the Somos Seattle board and has held roles with Burien Pride, Burien CARES, and Discover Burien.
