Jesse Salomon is the Democratic Washington state senator for Legislative District 32, elected in 2018. He chairs the Senate Local Government Committee and serves on Housing, Law & Justice, Rules, and joint legislative committees. Before the Senate, he served seven years on the Shoreline City Council, including as deputy mayor. His official Senate biography describes legislative work on public education, affordable housing, domestic-violence prevention, and local-government resources; he is also a licensed attorney and former public defender and prosecutor.
