Asked a DuPage County court to penalize a Burr Ridge resident who had objected to his nominating papers for the 2021 mayoral election, calling the objections frivolous. The court threw out Grasso's request, and also refused the resident's own request to penalize Grasso. The Illinois Appellate Court upheld both rulings on August 15, 2022 (Grasso v. Mueller, 2022 IL App (2d) 210594-U).
