Sara Feigenholtz is the Democratic Illinois state senator for District 6 and chairs the Senate Special Committee on Tourism. She served in the Illinois House from 1995 through 2020 before joining the Senate. Her legislative work has focused on health care, children's behavioral health, adoption, housing affordability, education, reproductive rights, and the hospitality industry.
