Jamie Davis (James "Jamie" Davis Jr.) is the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana in 2026. A third-generation row-crop farmer from Waterproof in Tensas Parish who operates the family's Davis Farms, he previously served as a Tensas Parish police juror for District 7 and sits on the Louisiana Democratic State Central Committee. He won the June 2026 Democratic runoff in a landslide, becoming the first Black U.S. Senate finalist in Louisiana since Reconstruction.
