Ana Maria Rodriguez is a Republican member of the Florida Senate representing District 40 (Monroe County and part of Miami-Dade County), first elected to the Senate in 2020 after serving one term in the Florida House. She chairs the Senate Committee on Environment and Natural Resources. The daughter of Cuban immigrants, she holds a B.S. in communications from Florida International University and an M.S. in leadership from Nova Southeastern University, and previously worked in real estate and healthcare government relations.
