Ken McCool

Ken McCool is the 2026 Democratic nominee for North Carolina House District 105. A lifelong Matthews resident and president of a family-run small business, he served as a Town of Matthews commissioner and Mayor Pro Tem, first winning election at 21 as one of the youngest elected officials in North Carolina history. He advanced without a primary and faces Republican incumbent Tricia Cotham in November.
